Finnish family business dedicated to sharing the authentic spirit of Rovaniemi and the peaceful rhythms of life in Lapland. Our passion is simple: to guide guests into the quiet beauty of the Arctic and to introduce the traditions that make Finnish culture so deeply rooted in nature.
All our tours and sauna experiences are designed for small groups of up to four people, ensuring every moment feels personal, unhurried, and tailored to the people joining us. This intimate approach lets you experience Rovaniemi the way locals do: quietly, respectfully, and with room to breathe.
On our guided winter hikes, you’ll explore pristine landscapes shaped by snow and silence. Frozen wetlands open into wide, bright Arctic vistas; snow-covered forests reveal hidden tracks of wildlife; and the fresh Lapland air brings clarity that stays with you long after the journey ends.
Our wood-fired sauna experiences invite you into a different kind of warmth, the timeless comfort of Finnish tradition. The crackle of burning wood, the gentle rise of steam, and the calm glow of the sauna create a quiet space to relax after a day outdoors.
Whether you join a hike, a sauna visit, or a combination of both, our goal is always the same: to give you a genuine encounter with Lapland’s nature and culture. Woodland Tours offers you a moment of connection to the land, to the season, and to the peaceful pace of Rovaniemi itself.
